Sanders Family

Megan and Ken Sanders were made for adventure and treasure the unity that nature provides. Megan and Ken spent their honeymoon in Hawaii learning to surf and horseback riding mountain trails. Together they found other outdoor pastimes such as kayaking, paddle boarding, rafting, hiking, and camping with their kids. 

Ken grew up in Pennsylvania enjoying the outdoors skiing, playing golf, and swimming. He remembers growing up, going outside to play and not coming inside until every last drop of sunlight had faded. Ken is a pharmacist and loves serving his community. Ken is excited to combine his love of serving and his passion for the outdoors into a new venture with Timberline Glamping. 

Megan grew up in Virginia, falling in love with beaches and spending time in the woods. Megan is a stay at home mom who started a pop up glamping business in 2020. The pop up business was great, but with two small kids traveling constantly had become difficult. Megan discovered Timberline Glamping on Instagram while promoting her popup glamping business. Originally Megan wanted to set up glamping tents at a local campground, but as her glamping business grew it turned into festivals and parties. In 2022 Megan discovered that Timberline Glamping was offering franchise opportunities. After visiting the Timberline Lake Lanier location with their kids, Megan and Ken knew that this was the next step for their family.

Megan and Ken are grateful to have a glamping opportunity that allows them to stay local. Becoming owners of a Timberline Glamping franchise in Williamsburg has become the perfect avenue for both Megan and Ken to share with others their love for the outdoors with their community.
